Saint Joseph’s Month Mission Momentum: Fuller Center for Housing

March is Saint Joseph’s Month, and each year we focus on one of our core values during it.  This year it is the core value of community.  In particular, we “extend this value of community by reaching out to neighbors and to members of the broader civic and ecclesial communities.”  In this spirit, during this year’s Saint Joseph’s month there will be a series of Mission Momentum Conversations with local organizations that are making a difference in our community.

Mission Momentum during Saint Joseph’s Month concludes today with a representative from the Sebago Lakes Region Fuller Center for Housing (SLRFCH).  It is a local chapter of the national Fuller Center for Housing founded by Millard Fuller, the same visionary who started Habit for Humanity.  It focuses on home repairs and simple building projects in the Sebago Lakes Region for older adults and veterans. It also helps anyone in need regardless of age, faith, or background.  Saint Joseph’s College is a founding partner of the SLRFCH.
