Saint Joseph’s Month Mission Momentum: Preble Street’s Homeless Voices for Justice

March is Saint Joseph’s Month, and each year we focus on one of our core values during it. This year it is the core value of community. In particular, we “extend this value of community by reaching out to neighbors and to members of the broader civic and ecclesial communities.” In this spirit, during this year’s Saint Joseph’s month there will be a series of Mission Momentum Conversations with local organizations that are making a difference in our community.
Preble Street’s Homeless Voices for Justice is a grassroots organization that works for social change with, and on behalf of, people with lived experience of homelessness and poverty. It empowers the homeless to be advocates on their behalf and to organize for institutional changes to policies addressing homelessness.
