Saint Joseph’s Month Mission Momentum: The Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine

March is Saint Joseph’s Month, and each year we focus on one of our core values during it. This year it is the core value of community. In particular, we “extend this value of community by reaching out to neighbors and to members of the broader civic and ecclesial communities.” In this spirit, during this year’s Saint Joseph’s month there will be a series of Mission Momentum Conversations with local organizations that are making a difference in our community.
The Jewish Community Alliance of Southern maine (JCA) is a nonprofit organization serving the Jewish community of Southern Maine by providing educational and social programming and fundraising. Through Michael Klahr Jewish Family Services it also serves as a resource for the entire Southern Maine community through programs such as its Essentials Pantry, Diaper Bank, and Food Pantry.
