Important Spring Break Campus Information from Residential Living
Share
With Spring Break fast approaching, the Residential Living Office is here to share some important information regarding the March 5th-March 13th break. This contains important information for both resident students and commuters.
- For this upcoming break the residence halls will be closed to students beginning at 6pm on Friday March 4th. The residence halls will reopen on Sunday, March 13th at 10am.
- If for any reason you need to reside on-campus for any part of Spring Break or need to return to campus before March 13th, you must fill out this Break Housing Request Form.
- Upon your arrival back to campus, a Covid-19 Test is required for BOTH RESIDENTS AND COMMUTERS. Tests will be available at the Health & Wellness Center in O’Connor Hall. Testing will be available at the following times:
Sunday, March 13:10am-4pm
Monday, March 14: 7am-4pm
Tuesday, March 15: 7am-4pm
- For on-campus resident students: the RA’s/Residential Living staff will be conducting room close outs just as they have during Thanksgiving and Winter Breaks. The RA/Residential Living staff will conduct a closeout/walkthrough of every residence hall room on campus, including rooms of students who are staying during the break. Here are some important things to remember about leaving your room for break:
✓ You must unplug ALL electronics from your room including refrigerators. Please defrost all fridges and leave the door open.
✓ Close & lock all windows. Also pull down your shade.
✓ Turn off all lights & lock your doors.
✓ Take out all trash and recycling.
✓ Remember to take anything from your room that you will need over break.
✓ Residential Living & Facilities Staff will be checking all rooms during break health, safety and damages.
We wish all of you a safe, relaxing and fun spring break. We look forward to having all back on campus to finish out the semester strong!
