Alpine Skiing: Men Win Slalom Race, Women Place Second at Black Mountain

1/15/23 — For the second time in as many days, the Saint Joseph’s College men’s alpine ski team won a very competitive race at Black Mountain. A day after claiming a five-point giant slalom victory, the Monks edged UMaine-Farmington by one point to clinch a slalom triumph on Sunday.
The Saint Joseph’s College women’s alpine ski team placed second with 13 place points and a 5:33.20 composite time in a slalom race at Black Mountain on Sunday. UMaine-Farmington won the event with 12 points and a 5:31.55 effort.
