Center for Financial Training & Education Alliance for Online Banking Majors
Share
Did you know that SJC’s online BSBA includes a major that is wholly drawn from the many banking specialty courses offered by the Center for Financial Training & Academic Alliance? Saint Joseph’s College (SJC) and the CFTEA have had a long standing relationship and are both institutions that have been serving their communities for over 100 years.
Andrew Lederer, Executive Director at CFTEA, is passionate about serving the banking industry’s workforce and has provided a robust “one-stop-shop” for members’ training and development needs. Our partnership has only grown richer over the years because of our shared values and our commitment to serve. The banking major was created more than fifteen years ago to enable qualified employees from CFTEA’s member institutions to transfer training they’ve received for college credit through SJC’s online BSBA program. The list of courses and certifications that can benefit from the partnership has grown long with both organizations’ partnerships with MindEdge. This provides a tremendous opportunity for those in the banking profession to expand their knowledge and achieve academic acknowledgement for their accomplishments.
Our long-standing relationship and close collaboration with the CFTEA provides a program that is highly relevant to the needs of the banking community. Both programs aim to provide students with optimal flexibility for completing their coursework. Saint Joe’s always has students in this program, and alumnus Joe Happnie ’11 is on CFTEA’s board.
