2022 Commencement: Have you applied for graduation and ordered your cap and gown yet?

Deadline: Tuesday, March 1, 2022

If you are planning to participate in 2022 Commencement ceremonies on Saturday, May 14, you must order your cap and gown online. Place your order at https://www.buildagrad.com/sjc by March 1*. Once there, note the different links depending on if you are an On-Campus Student or Online Student.

*This is a firm deadline set by the vendor to ensure that regalia is shipped and received in time for the May ceremony. If you have questions about ordering your regalia, please click on the contact us button on their website.

Your order contains

• 1 mortar board cap (black)
• 1 tassel (royal blue/white with 2022 charm)
• 1 gown (black)
• 1 hood (Color will be determined based on the degree you will be receiving)

You will need the following information to complete the online order form

1. Your SJC student ID. You can find your student ID number in Campus Café (the college’s student database).
2. Your height and weight
3. Degree earned (ie, Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Business Administration). If you are unsure what degree you are receiving please refer to the graduation application or contact your academic advisor.

Note:

• On-campus students’ caps and gowns will be shipped directly to the College and will be available for pickup at the Senior Send-off Fair (April 11-12).
• Online students’ caps and gowns shipped directly to them.
