Leocadya (Koziski) McEnelly ’14 just graduated with her MSN in Education in May 2021 from SJC. She also welcomed her second child on April 28, 2021 with her husband Scott McEnelly ’12.
Renee Leask ’21 has been hired as a kindergarten teacher at Songo Locks in Naples, Maine. Recently, she was a remote learning interventionist at RSU 14, Windham. Leask studied Elementary Education and History at Saint Joseph’s College.
Andrew Young ’07, ’18 has been hired as a fifth-grade teacher at Crooked River Elementary in Casco, Maine. He is presently a Resiliency Coordinator at Biddeford Primary School. Previously, he was a classroom teacher in Biddeford, a special education teacher in Raymond and a teacher in Poland, Maine. Andrew earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Saint Joseph’s College in 2007 and a Master of Science in Education from SJC in 2018.
Katherine Dormady ’21 has been hired as a Special Education teacher at Songo Locks Elementary in Naples, Maine. She previously was a student teacher in Windham and an intern at SAD 61.
Ann M. Dee ’93 got promoted to Chief Operating Officer at Old Colony Elder Services, a nonprofit organization that serves older adults and individuals with disabilities throughout Greater Plymouth County in Brockton, Massachusetts.
Obituaries
Sister Madeleine Grandmaison ’68 passed away on May 19, 2021, at Mount St. Joseph in Waterville, Maine. She received her Education Degree under the Sisters of St. Joseph at Holy Family School in Lewiston, Maine. She also studied Theology at St. Paul University in Ottawa, Canada, and obtained an LPN Degree from CMVTI in Auburn, Maine. Sister Madeleine enjoyed knitting and counted-cross stitching. She is in our thoughts and prayers.
Donna Warzynski ’00 passed away on May 19, 2021, at Dimensions Living-Stevens Point. She worked as a nurse for 48 years, where she began her career in Wisconsin at St. Michael’s Hospital. Donna loved spending time with her family and friends and was very proud of her grandchildren in all they have accomplished. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Capt. Wilfred B. Watters ’98 passed away on May 21, 2021, at Maine Medical Center. Will proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War and stateside until his retirement in 1980. He was an avid fisherman and leaves behind many beloved family members and friends. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.
Joan Craig Brinkman ’94 passed away peacefully on May 26, 2021. Joan worked both as a clinical nurse and a teacher of microbiology at Maine General Hospital (now Maine Medical Center) School of Nursing. She was very involved in her community, including the American Cancer Society and Tri-County EMS. She enjoyed reading, basketball and bridge, as well as spending time with much-loved family and friends. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers.
