April is the Holy Month of Ramadan

Share

What is Ramadan?

It is the month that Muslims use to practice spiritual discipline through fasting, praying, and devoting themselves to strengthening their faith.

How?

Healthy adults consume nothing between sunrise and sunset, feed the poor, practice self awareness, humanity, honesty, and gratitude.

Why?

To practice self discipline, self control, sacrifice and empathy for those who are less fortunate, and to create good new health habits over the course of the month.

Did you know? Ramadan Kareem is an Islamic greeting meaning Merry Ramadan, much like Merry Christmas!
