Share

commuter pantryNow open in Mercy Center (second floor Heffernan Center), the commuter kitchen offers a fridge, microwave, and coffee/tea station. Commuters are welcome to hang out in the kitchen in between classes. But all students are welcome. Use it as a study space, a lunch spot, or just to hang out! Lockers are available for student use – email kcody@sjcme.edu to reserve a locker and pick up a lock.

Food Insecurity on Campus

Any student experiencing a need can feel free to pick up non-perishable food or toiletries in the community kitchen. If students are experiencing issues with food insecurity, they can also contact kcody@sjcme.edu (a confidential resource) and she can offer resources/support.

Do you want to help with food insecurity?
Mercy Center is accepting non-perishable food items and toiletry donations year round. Please drop off in the Mercy Center.

The Community Kitchen is sponsored by the Mercy Center and Student Government.
