Martin Luther King Day Presentation: Enslavement in Colonial Maine

Vana Carmona will talk about The Prince Project which is documenting the graves and stories of the enslaved who are buried in Portland’s Eastern Cemetery. She will also share how this work has interfaced with her own family history and slavery and its connection to the legacy of Dr. King.
Lunch is being provided at 12:15. The presentation begins at 12:30.
