Beginner Ceramics classes

Did you know that you don’t have to go to Portland to take a pottery class? You can take one right here at SJC! We’re offering pottery courses this summer on Wednesdays starting on July 12. AM and PM sessions are available.

• July 12 – August 30 AM session, Wednesdays  10:00 am – 1:00 pm
• July 12 – August 30 PM session, Wednesdays 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm

You’ll learn to make bowls, plates and vases using the potter’s wheel. This is a basic course that will cover making and glazing pottery from start to finish. 50lbs of clay, glaze, and open studio access are included in the price of $300 for the eight-week course. Attendance: 6 Students min/ 12 max. Classes will be held in the Pottery Room in the basement of Saint Joseph’s Hall.
