BROKEN RECORDS:

With an assist on a Bridget Collins (Milford, Conn.) goal at the 10:14 mark of the second quarter, grad student Lydia Dexter (Oakland, Maine) broke the GNAC single-season points record, which was formerly held by Lasell University’s Britney Wuorio who scored 130 points during the 2013 campaign. Dexter entered today’s contest with 127 points and – with two goals and four assists in the triumph – has now tallied 133 points (64 goals, 69 assists) in just 16 games this season.

With her first assist of the game – on a Cailyn Wesley (Peabody, Mass.) tally 3:13 into play – Dexter broke the Monks’ career assists record, which was previously held by Mary Leasure ’16 who notched 105 helpers in 76 games. Dexter started the day tied with Leasure and, with four assists this afternoon, now has 109 dimes in 40 games.
