How the science and practice of awareness supports well-being and performance – with Tara Healey

Tara Healey is Program Director for Mindfulness-Based Learning at Harvard Pilgrim Health Care. She is a longtime practitioner of mindfulness meditation and advocate for its proven health benefits. In this retreat, she will focus on mindfulness meditation practices intended to strengthen and direct attention; examine habits and patterns; and foster a connection with oneself and others. Extended periods of meditation will be complemented by guidance from her, with substantial time devoted to group discussion. Gentle movement exercises suitable for all body types will also be offered. Participants will leave with a series of integrated tools for cultivating mindful awareness in all aspects of their personal and professional lives.

Anyone is welcome to join this retreat, regardless of previous experience with mindfulness practice.
