Ray Ruby ’05 recently named the Executive Director of the Maine Cancer Foundation

Saint Joe’s alum Ray Ruby ’05 has been named as the next Executive Director of the Maine Cancer Foundation! After graduating from SJC with a degree in Criminal Justice, Ray served as a Portland Police Officer for seven years, earning Officer of the Year in 2011. Ray has been with the Maine Cancer Foundation since 2018.

“It is a privilege of a lifetime to be named Maine Cancer Foundation’s next executive director,” said Ruby. “I am honored to work with the team here to continue advancing the mission across the state. Maine communities have carried the burden of cancer too long, and our goal is to make sure that no one is alone in the fight.”
