Three Reasons to Rock Rubrics
Provide clear expectations: Rubrics help students understand what’s expected of them. This can reduce confusion, and it also helps learners focus their efforts on meeting the expectations.
Facilitate self-assessment: Rubrics can be used by students to self-assess their own work. This helps learners identify areas for improvement, and it also helps them develop self-confidence.
Save time: By providing clear expectations and criteria, rubrics help instructors grade work more quickly and efficiently.
