Social Work students volunteer at diaper drive

Share

Recently, these social work students participated in a community-based learning experience for SW 330: Social Work with Individuals and Families. The students are asked to both participate and then reflect on this work as it connects to the core values of social work. The class spent the morning at Michael Klahr Jewish Family Services preparing and distributing bundles of diapers to approximately 50 families, as well as wipes and period supplies.

Shown in the group photo (l-r): Kaylee Fernald, Hannah Gower, Taylor Bastarache, Sarah Joe, Annie Frey, and professor Karli Efron.
