Submit your art for the student art exhibition!

From the Office of Student Engagement:

Saint Joseph’s College (SJC) is now accepting applications from artists, designers, and makers who share a connection to Saint Joseph’s College of Maine for its Student Exhibition. This exhibition is to allow students to express any type of art that they enjoy and to share any photography or painting’s they have created with no judgment. No Freestanding Sculptures will be allowed at this exhibition. Works must
be original in concept and design, and created within the past four years.

Submission Deadline: November 1
Delivery Date: November 15
Exhibition Date: November 21, 2022 to April 2023
Removal Date: April 21, 2023

CURATORIAL NOTE: The Saint Joseph’s College Student Exhibition has no jury and is open to current SJC students, alumni, faculty, staff, and any artist who has a connection to the school. The college reserves the right to approve or reject final artwork for inclusion in the exhibit, based upon the issue of safety or appropriateness of exhibit audiences.

SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS: To participate, please submit the following two (2) items to Courtney St. Onge at courtney.stonge@sjcme.edu by November 1, 2022:

  1. Submit the completed entry form and email it to courtney.stonge@sjcme.edu
  2. A photo of the art work with how it should be hung or printed

Image submissions should be in a .jpeg format at a high resolution (file size should not exceed 4MB). Any work that is sent online needs to be labeled with FIRST and LAST NAME and what size it should be printed out as in inches

  • For example: Courtney_StOnge_10Lx15W.jpg

TERMS: All work is exhibited at the artist’s own risk. The artist is responsible for delivering the work to campus and for all return transportation costs. All work must be delivered ready for display on the date stated above. Late work will not be exhibited.
