Veteran story: Theology students participate in Warriors to Lourdes Pilgrimage

Thank you, Veterans, for your years of service and sacrifice. Happy Veterans Day! 

We’d like to share an experience of a few of our theology students who happen to be veterans.

Theology students and fellow veterans MSG Sompaul Vorapanich, COL Miriam Rosa Cummo, and LTC Richard Tuggle, Deacon, connected with each other in Lourdes, France, last May with the help of their professor, Stephen Bujno. The three were in Lourdes for the spiritual pilgrimage for healing. The pilgrimage is held every year in May and the cost is covered by the Knights of Columbus.

Miriam says “It is truly a transformational pilgrimage and would benefit any soldier/veteran at the college who would want to take the opportunity to further spiritual growth.”
