Donate to the new Career Closet

Share

The Career Studio is thrilled to announce a new initiative to benefit students as they navigate the interview process and explore career paths. Introducing the Saint Joseph’s College of Maine Career Closet—a free collection of professional attire donated by the SJC community to provide students with clean, career-ready clothing to be worn for interviews, internships, and other professional development experiences.

To ensure that access to professional clothing is available to all students in our community, we request that you donate high-quality, gently used clothing geared toward young adults (ages 18-25, primarily) of all sizes. We kindly request that all items donated are not ripped, stained, broken, or missing any pieces (buttons, zippers, straps).

Here are the following items we hope to collect:
Blouses
Blazers
Belts
Suits
Dresses and skirts
Dress pants and slacks
Dress shoes (loafers, flats, derby dress shoes, oxfords, dress boots, nice sneakers)
Dress Socks
Scrubs
Polo shirts and button-downs
Ties
Dress scarfs

Please email careerstudio@sjcme.edu to set up your drop-off time at the Career Closet in Mercy Hall, room 250.

If you do not have any clothing items to donate but would still like to help, click here to participate in a financial donation. All funds collected will be used to purchase items for the Career Closet.

Thank you for your support of this special project. Together with your help, we look forward to launching SJC’s Career Closet!
