You Did It Elizabeth Cummons!

#SaintJoesMaine ’20 Elizabeth Cummons has been hired as a Client Support Center Analyst at Athenahealth!

Athenahealth, Inc. is a private American company that provides network-enabled services for healthcare and point-of-care mobile apps in the United States.

Congratulations, Elizabeth! They are lucky to have you!

You might remember Elizabeth from 2019 when she was selected to become one of 28 Maine students to participate in the 2019 Maine NEW (National Education for Women) Leadership Institute. NEW Leadership is an undergraduate student leadership program sponsored by the University of Maine’s Margaret Chase Smith Policy Center developed to address the under-representation of women in politics. Maine NEW Leadership is a six-day residential program designed to educate and empower the next generation of young leaders for civil and political participation.

You’ll also recognize her as a Cross Country #Monk! 

Accolades:
GNAC All-Sportsmanship Team: 2019

2019: Raced in five out of eight events closing out her senior year… opening the season on August 31st she ran a 25:34 5k at the Colby-Sawyer Invitational placing 43rd… with a season-best on September 21st she ran at the UMass Dartmouth Invitational (6k) coming in with a time of 23:45 for an 87th finish in the sub-varsity race… closing the season she ran in her last GNAC Championship finishing 64th in a time of 30:03 on November 2nd.

2018: Raced in five out of seven events as a junior…on September 29th at the Maine Championship (6k) came in 147th with a time of 27:23…at the Green Mountain Invitational she had her best race coming in 37th  in 22:55 on October 13th…finished 54th at the GNAC Championship (5k) with a time of 24:18 on October 28th

2017: She ran in six events as a sophomore…she placed 47th with a time of 25:56 in the UMF Invitational on September 2nd…at the Purple Valley Classic (5K) on September 23rd she finished 77th with a 25:54 effort…on October 7th at the Runnin’ Monk Invitational she ran a 25:14, good for 23rd place…at the Maine State Championship on October 14th she placed 80th after a time of 22:59…she placed 62nd with a time of 24:23 on October 28th in the GNAC Championship…in the New England Championship on November 11th she finished 337th with a time of 28:00.
