An Opportunity to Cultivate a Commitment to JEDI through Mindfulness

Our ongoing goal is to keep offering programs and workshops that further your own reflection on our commitment of justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion (JEDI).  This workshop is the first in a series that will teach participants to use the skills of mindful listening as a foundation for more productive conversations around race and social justice.

How the Science and Practice of Awareness Supports Well-Being and Performance

This program, led by master mindfulness instructor Tara Healey, introduces the basic principles and practices of mindfulness: a concentrated state of awareness that helps people see and respond to situations with clarity. Participants will be introduced to the foundational meditation practices of mindfulness that will teach them how to be more focused, creative and resilient in all aspects of their lives.

Tara Healey is the creator and director of Mind the Moment, the mindfulness program of Harvard Pilgrim Health Care and Tufts Health Plan. Since 2005, Tara has overseen the creation of mindfulness workshops and courses that have been conducted at organizations across the U.S. Tara serves as President of the Board of the Insight Meditation Society, and was recognized by Mindful Magazine as one of the most powerful women in the mindfulness movement.
