College Break Information
The Residence Halls are closed for the following breaks: Thanksgiving Break, Winter Break, Spring Break, and Easter Break. Students not approved for break housing are required to leave their hall by 6 pm the day that break begins. The residence halls reopen at noon the last day of the break period.
- Thanksgiving Break: Begins at 6pm on Tuesday, November 21 through Sunday, November 26
- Winter Break: Begins at 6pm on Thursday, December 14 through Sunday, January 14
Students not participating in Commencement are required to move out of their room after their last final.
Got a guest staying overnight?
The guest registration form must be completed for all campus guests and non-resident students that will be visiting SJC after 5pm on a weekday, or anytime on the weekend. This form must be completed and submitted by 10pm the day the guest arrives, to Campus Safety. Failure to submit this form in the required time may result in a guest being denied campus visiting privileges.
