Business Ethics class raises awareness for Partners for World Health

Share

For their community-based learning final project, Business Ethics class students Safa Al kinani, Michael Gilman, Emma Ranzetta decided to raise awareness for Partners for World Health, a long-time partner of the college.

“Our project aims to pursue continuous help from New England organizations and medical suppliers to support the mission of Partners for World Health. Partners for World Health (PWH) is a non-profit organization in Portland, Maine. PWH collects medical supplies and equipment from healthcare facilities, manufacturers, other organizations, and individuals. With the help of generous volunteers, all donated items get sorted, evaluated, repackaged, and prepared for distribution to individuals, communities, and healthcare facilities in need both locally and overseas. PWH also saves the environment by eliminating the disposal of tons of medical supplies and equipment that could leave hazardous residue. Our goal is to raise awareness of this local non profit organization and give more credit to the incredible work they do to save the environment and help thousands of people in need across the world.”
