File the FAF$A for 2022-23 Today!

From all of us here in the Financial Aid Office, we wanted to wish you a Happy October! With that being said, it’s time to start thinking about financial aid for next year!

For our first, second, and third-year students, it is crucial to begin your FAFSA early and ensure all documents are received that may be needed (verification can take time- ask those who have gone through this before!) Our office begins financial aid award offer letters for our returning students in late May/early June, once all final grades are posted. Having your FAFSA submitted with all required documents is imperative for a quicker turnaround to your aid!

For our fourth-year students, are you thinking of continuing your education to obtain your graduate degree next year? If so, we hope many of you choose to do it right here, but filing the FAFSA now can help for an easier transition next summer!

Please keep in mind when you are filing the FAFSA, you will be using your 2020 tax information. Be sure to click on the 2022-23 FAFSA, in order to renew your information!

If you have already filed, fantastic work, but if not, please make every effort to do so before our priority deadline of April 1st for all returning students. Also, for those that may have received Maine State Grant this year or are hoping to be eligible next year, the deadline to file a FAFSA is May 1st.
