Northeastern University students visit campus

On Saturday, November 13, Kimberly Post arranged for students from Northeastern University to visit SJC to learn more about our campus and to do service here as part of their alternative break program. She gave them an in-depth tour and shared the College’s best practices/lessons learned in our sustainability and community-based learning work.

The students spent the day doing some grounds work, learning about composting, touring the freight farm with Hilary Lamkin, who also talked about hydroponic growing, and with Dr. Emily Lesher who taught them about Sebago Lake.
