Protect Yourself and Others This Flu Season

Flu season is upon us

Here are a few healthy habits to keep our community safe and prevent the flu:

  1. The single best way to reduce the risk of seasonal flu is to get vaccinated each year.
  2. Avoid close contact with people who are sick.
  3. Stay home when you are sick and don’t go to class. Make an appointment at the Health & Wellness Center.
  4. Wear your mask.
  5. Clean your hands.
  6. Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth.
  7. Practice other good health habits.

Get Yourself Vaccinated Now

Students may receive a flu shot at the Health & Wellness Center on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2 to 4PM for the next 4 weeks. No appointment necessary. Bring your insurance card with you.

Faculty and staff may receive a flu shot on Oct. 21 from 10AM to 2PM in the Alfond Center Hall of Fame Room (provided by WalMart). Please bring your insurance card.
