SJC earns Gold Star Breathe Easy Award

SJC has been recognized for its Tobacco-Free Achievements among 11 Maine Institutions of Higher Education Celebrated for Leadership through Annual Gold Star Standards of Excellence Program.

The annual Gold Star Standards of Excellence recognition program encourages and supports Maine’s institutions and organizations that are addressing smoking and tobacco use by creating and maintaining smoke and tobacco-free policies to provide a healthy and safe environment for their clients, students, faculty, staff and visitors.

At Saint Joseph’s, this is part of our Campus Wellness Program lead by Jenna Chase with support by Heidi Jacques in Human Resources.
