Thanksgiving Break Information for Residents

With the holiday Thanksgiving break fast approaching the Residential Living Office would like to remind students of the college’s housing procedure for Thanksgiving Break as it is different from other breaks so far this semester.

Thanksgiving Break Information

• Please note that all SJC Residence Halls close during Thanksgiving Break. Residence Halls will close on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 6pm. If you have a class that ends after 6pm you will be permitted to stay 1 hour after the end of your class.
• Please make sure to take all necessary items with you(laptops, books, medications, etc.) as there will be no access to residence halls until they re-open, Sunday, November 28th at 12pm.
• The Residential Living Office will be doing residence hall checks to confirm unapproved residents have left.
• If you cannot leave campus during this break you may fill out our Break Housing Request Form and we will contact you individually regarding your request. Forms must be submitted by Friday, November 19th.
• All offices other than Campus Safety will be closed during this break. There will be no on-campus dining options during the Thanksgiving Break.
• Your RA will be sending out more information about your break close out. You may also email resliving@sjcme.edu with any questions.
