2023 Benefit Open Enrollment

To our Benefit-Eligible Faculty and Staff,

We invite you to virtually attend our Open Enrollment (OE) meeting on November 4, 2022, at 11:30 AM to learn more about the benefit offerings in 2023.  This virtual OE meeting will take place via Google Meets.  You should have already received a calendar invitation from the Human Resources account.

Our annual benefit Open Enrollment period for 2023 runs from Monday, November 7th at 8:30 am thru Friday, November 18th at 5:00 pm. You will be able to log directly into the PlanSource Benefits Administration System via a link on the ADP homepage. There is no need to remember a separate login for PlanSource; the link in ADP will access your personal benefit profile directly. PlanSource is the interactive, online system which provides decision support to assist you in making your benefit elections. PlanSource will be the system of record for all benefit elections as well as your dependents and beneficiaries.  It is important that you review and ensure this information is correct and accurate as you enroll.

Open enrollment is a time to review and elect the employee benefits available to you for the new plan year beginning on January 1, 2023. This is also a time for you to change or elect dependent coverage without having a qualifying life-changing event.

We ask that benefit-eligible faculty and staff log in to PlanSource during Open Enrollment to elect or decline the benefit offerings for 2023.

We expect you to have questions as you get logged in and make your enrollment decisions. Members of the SJC HR Team and Cross Benefit Solutions will be available over the next two weeks to assist you and answer your questions. Contact information will be shared in the OE Presentation and follow-up communications.

IMPORTANT: All benefit elections must be made online by the close of business on Friday, November 18th at 5:00 PM.  If you do not take action to enroll yourself and/or your family-members by 5:00 PM on Friday, November 18th, you forfeit your defined contribution from the College and it will result in no elective insurance benefits for 2023.

In the event you are unable to attend this virtual meeting, we will be recording it. The recording and OE presentation will be electronically distributed for your review and posted on the SJC Benefits Enrollment web page after the meeting.
