The enforcement of parking regulations on campus is the responsibility of Campus Safety. Our office is located in Standish Hall.
Vehicles parked on campus must be registered and follow all parking regulations. Failure to comply may result in a parking citation being used, the vehicle being towed at the owner/operator’s expense, suspension and/or revocation of parking privileges on campus, and/or disciplinary action being taken by the College.
The current parking regulations for both students and faculty/staff can be accessed by following the links at the bottom of this page.
We have made it easier for you to sign up for a parking sticker! Log into the parking portal to request a parking permit for your vehicle!
Do you have a parking citation you want to dispute? You can do that in the parking portal too! You may dispute the ticket and receive the adjudication via email.
To access this new resource, please open your SJC Chrome browser while signed into your SJC email account and go to the Parking Portal.
The parking portal is managed by Campus Safety. For any ticketing and/or parking issues, please contact Campus Safety (207-893-6687 or sjcsecurity@sjcme.edu). Billing is handled by Student Accounts.
Faculty/Staff may register their vehicle on the Parking Portal using their SJC Email Account. There is no charge for a F/S parking permit.
All faculty and staff vehicles must be registered and display a valid campus-issued parking decal. The decal may be obtained at no charge by registering the vehicle in the Parking Portal. The decal must be permanently affixed to the lower right side of the front windshield (above the wiper blade on passenger side).
Parking for faculty and staff is available across campus. Parking spaces are normally paved with asphalt and marked with white lines on either side. Any vehicle parked on grass, loose gravel or dirt is not parked in a legitimate parking spot except for the Ballfield Lot and St. Joe’s Field.
