Freight Farm To Table

Celebrating the #AttainableSustainable projects that keep #SaintJoesMaine green, we flashback to 2017, when we brought an old freight container to campus to launch a small-scale hydroponic farming operation. No, really. The farm is now a fully functioning, highly developed, and student-run factory of greens (edible flowers, too!). Weekly, the farm produces about 30-40 pounds of lettuce that land on your plate at Pearson’s Cafe. Now that’s what we call, (freight) farm to table!
