Getting Caught Up with Fine Arts

Share

It’s been a busy time in the Fine Arts Department. Here are a few of their recent projects and a couple that they are working on.

  • The Poland Spring Bottling Plant Museum opened on July 1 with new exhibits and signage. Chris Sullivan oversaw the master planning, exhibit design, and construction of all the new exhibits. SJC Students were brought into the process and helped with graphics and art preparation and installation.
  • Chris was the Consulting Exhibits Director for the new $15M Children’s Museum & Theatre of Maine that opened in Portland last month. He directed the creative direction, oversaw the exhibit and theatre design, and coordinated the fabrication and install of all of their new exhibits.
  • Chris is also coordinating the EcoArts exhibit for Bigelow Labs in East Boothbay. The exhibition will open in October.
  • Scott Fuller and Chris are consulting on a series of public sculptures being installed by the City of Lewiston, which will be installed in August.

Way to go Fine Arts! We’d love to see some photos.
