Kevin Sager ’07 joined his hometown police department in Hopkinton, Massachusetts. For the past 13 years he has been a part of the South Portland police department in Maine. He recently rose to the rank of Sergeant and decided to return home to serve on his local police force. Congrats Kevin!

Rodney Brown ’05 has received the Certified Athletic Administrator distinction from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. This is a huge honor and all candidates must demonstrate the highest level of knowledge and expertise in the field of interscholastic athletic administration. Congrats Rodney!

Monica White ’07 has been appointed as Commissioner of the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living. She previously served as the Director of Operations and led COVID-19 response efforts last year. Congrats Monica!

Abigail Earle ’21 while working for the Town of Paris, Maine, has been asked to take part in Allure magazine’s review for Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle L’Eau Privee – new perfume. Abbie and her coworkers had a blast testing out the new perfume and gave it high reviews. How fun!

Rodney Brown ’05, Mascoma Valley Athletic Director, received the Certified Athletic Administrator Distinction from the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association. Benjamin White ’12 has been appointed as an assistant superintendent of N.H. School Administrative Unit 29. White says about his new position that he wants to prioritize building relationships with the students, staff and families of SAU 29. He and his wife, Liz, are excited to settle down in the Monadnock Region.

Obituaries

Jeannine (Ross) Beaudoin ’61 passed away on May 29, 2021. She was a member of the glee club, French club, and choir during her years at SJC. Jeannine loved being a stay-at-home mother and singing in her church choir. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Ellen Mary Kennedy Johnson ’79 passed away on Jun 29, 2021 after a long, brave struggle with cancer. Ellen was born in Chicago and had a very outgoing personality. She was excellent at interior design and being a fiber artist. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Kathleen (Wiley) Pietsch ’83 passed away on Jun 5, 2021. She and her husband Ken were married for 54 years and retired to Hilton Head Island, SC in 2004. Kathy enjoyed playing bridge, biking, and spending time at the beach. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers,

Vada (Ernsberger) Scribner ’88 passed away on Jun 18, 2021. She and her husband Thomas were married for 63 years; he passed away in 2018. Vada volunteered in the Chaplain’s Office at Toledo Hospital. She loved knitting, quilting, and needlepoint. Her family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Lt. Alan Lessieur ’12 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 8, 2021. Born in Lowell on December 24, 1960, Alan was the son of the late Joseph and Rita (Paige) Lessieur. Alan was a Lieutenant with the Pepperell Police Department, where he worked for over 32 years. He also served in the Air Force. Alan was a loving husband, father, Pépère, brother, and friend. His greatest joy was time spent with his grandson Asher. His family is in our thoughts and prayers.
