“Working with the CASE scholars over the past four years has been a highlight of my time at SJC. I am very proud to have been a part of a team that has made SJC Bee Campus USA certified, as well as designed and worked to implement the Pollinator Garden. The Pollinator Garden can have an impact not only for the SJC community members (as well as native pollinators and plants!), but also is accessible to the broader community. From our initial designs, we planned on making it open to local schools and folks, so that anyone could come and learn, enjoying its beauty at the same time. As it has continued to develop, I think it has become the valuable resource we hoped it would be for SJC and the broader community as a whole.”
