Preventative exams are defined as physical exams, dental cleanings and other preventative procedures such as mammogram and/or colonoscopy regardless of whether you are covered under the College’s health insurance plan. Note- the time off request for such visits must be coordinated and pre-approved by your supervisor. For non-exempt, hourly employees, the appropriate number of wellness hours must be applied to the timecard via a request in ADP.
Community Personalized Ergonomic Assessments
  • Mary Lee Lunt is the SJC Certified Ergonomic Evaluator and will provide an ergonomic assessment upon request from an employee or manager/supervisor (mlunt@sjcme.edu).

  • The SJC Certified Ergonomic Evaluator will explain basic ergonomic principles and work with employees to reduce the impact of repetitive motion injuries by assisting with adjustments to equipment, suggesting alternatives and recommendations based on knowledge of ergonomics and the tools and equipment that are available.
  • For employees who are working remotely, Work at Home Evaluations are available.

Saint Joseph’s College is invested in providing a safe work environment for all employees. This includes workplace safety in the area of ergonomics.
